The Cannon Cup is held at Loudoun Soccer Park, 19798 Sycolin Rd, Leesburg, VA 20175. The complex features both turf and Bermuda grass fields. Check vsaonline.org for the field map and parking details closer to the event.

What divisions are offered and how many games do we get?

Accepted Answer

The Cannon Cup runs three competitive divisions for each age group: the Cannon Cup division (top tier), Cavalry Division (second tier), and Bull Run Division (third tier). Every team is guaranteed 3 games, and champions are crowned in every division — so every team is playing for something.

Do I need to reserve in advance or can I rent on-site?

Advance reservations are strongly recommended — they guarantee your gear is already set up at your field when you arrive. We do bring extra inventory for walk-up rentals at our headquarters tent, but selection is limited and it's first-come, first-served. Reserve ahead to lock in your spot and skip the scramble.

What happens if games are cancelled due to weather?

Accepted Answer

If the Cannon Cup is officially cancelled or significantly shortened due to weather, we'll work with you on a full refund or credit toward a future event. The tournament's own weather policy allows match relocation, duration reduction, or cancellation at the discretion of the Tournament Rules Committee. We're parents too — we'll find a fair solution.

Question 5

How do I find the Sideline Society setup at the fields?

Accepted Answer

If you reserved in advance, your gear will be set up and waiting at your field area when you arrive — just look for the Sideline Society branded setup. We'll also have a central headquarters tent for walk-ups and questions. When your confirmation goes out, we'll include any field-specific details.
